Zoran Dimitrovski was appointed as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on July 23, 2024. Dimitrovski is a veteran journalist with 35 years of experience in Macedonian media. He served as editor-in-chief of three prominent daily newspapers. From 2001 to 2004, he was a Washington DC correspondent for Nova Makedonija. He has authored over 1,500 essays, columns, analyses, and investigative pieces across Macedonian media. Dimitrovski graduated in Journalism and earned a master's in Political Science from Central European University in Budapest. He teaches Critical Thinking and Analytical Writing at the Graduate Studies of Media Management and Strategic Communication at the Institute of Communication Studies in Skopje, and taught Writing for Journalists and Investigative Journalism at the School of Journalism and Public Relations. He has conducted professional training in investigative journalism and media literacy. Politically, he joined the Democratic Union in 2019 as Secretary General and previously served as Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government (2020-2023).
