Victor Cramer is Deputy Director General at the Office for International Migration within the Ministry of Asylum and Migration of the Netherlands. He began his professional journey as a business consultant at SenterNovem and then moved to public service joining the Ministry of Finance, where he held various key roles, including Policy Advisor and later Head of Customs Legislation. His career then took him to Washington D.C., where he served as Financial Counselor at the Dutch Embassy, focusing on bilateral financial relations with the United States. In 2012, he returned to the Netherlands to lead the EU Division at the Ministry of Finance. From 2017 to 2024, Cramer served as Deputy Director at the European and International Affairs Department of the Ministry of Justice and Security, where he focused on strengthening the rule of law and took the initiative to build an international coalition to combat organised crime. Since 2024, he heads the Office for International Migration, where he continues to work at the intersection of international cooperation and national migration policy.
