Mohammed Afzaal Bhatti, a British Pakistani and a Chartered Certified Accountant from United Kingdom by profession, was appointed as Managing Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), under the administrative control of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Government of Pakistan, in January 2025. He is the first Non-Civil Servant appointed as Chief Executive Officer of OPF. Previously, from 2015 to 2018, he was the Commissioner of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission, Punjab from 2015 to 2018. Bhatti also served as Board member of different organisations, as the Bank of England (BoE) United Kingdom (Member Monetary Decision Maker Panel), the Bank of Punjab (BoP), the OPF, the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), the Punjab Privatization Board (PPB), the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), the Lahore General Hospital (LGH), the Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power (Pvt.) Limited, and the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt.) Limited.
