Mohamed Lemine Teyeb

Mohamed Lemine Teyeb is a dedicated public servant and activist, serving as Mission Officer at the Ministry of the Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development. He was also elected Mayor of the Municipality of Dourara in the Houdh region, a role that places him at the forefront of local community engagement and development challenges.He holds the critical position of Immigration File Manager for the Association of Mayors of Mauritania, and represents the Ministry of the Interior on the National Committee for Environment and Sustainable Development. Beyond his formal responsibilities, Teyeb is a committed environmental activist and an emerging political figure, working to champion sustainable development policies and foster peaceful coexistence among all segments of Mauritanian society. He holds a master's from the University of Nouakchott and a bachelor's in Economics from the Lebanese University.
