Manos Logothetis has been serving as the Greek Secretary General of Migration Policy since August 2024. In February 2020, he was appointed Secretary General for the Reception of Asylum Seekers at the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, and in July 2023 Secretary General for Public Order at the Ministry of Citizen Protection. He is permanent doctor of the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY, formerly KEELPNO). From 2007 to 2009, Logothetis served as advisor at the Ministry of Economy in matters of Parliamentary Control and as advisor in the Office of the President of KEELPNO. In 2015, he became Coordinator of the Medical and Psychosocial Field in Samos’ Reception and Identification Center. In 2019, he was appointed General Coordinator of the Medical and Psychosocial Field in the 2nd Health District, and afterwards as a Special Secretary for Reception at the Ministry of Citizen Protection. Logothetis studied Medicine at the University of Semmelweis in Budapest. He holds a postgraduate degree in Organization and Management of Health Services and a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
