Abdelaziz Harib serves as Assistant Undersecretary for Communication and International Relations at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he oversees strategic communications, international cooperation, and institutional partnerships. He previously served as Director of International Industrial Initiatives at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), where he led international industrial partnerships and strategic initiatives. Earlier, within the Executive Office of the Minister of Economy, he contributed to policy development and governance frameworks and led strategic projects such as the Family Business Program. Harib also served as a senior negotiator for the UAE National Climate Negotiations delegation, leading negotiations on technology, science, and capacity-building at the United Nations climate change conferences (COP27 to COP30). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wilkes University.
